Devices for Irrigation
Irrigation has its own special requirements to the devices used. When no AC or DC power is avalable the devices have to work on a battery but still have a high protection against temperature, moisture, rain and many others.
When power is available it may be advantageous for the device if it uses 25 VAC instead of DC power, which simplifies the wiring and reduces the cost of the installation.
As a standard the flow meters used for irrigation produce very low frequency pulses, sometimes down to one pulse every a few minutes. A typical flow computer will not be able to display a stable flow rate and control its outputs accordingly. Most flow computers will not be able even to show any flow rate and the outputs will not work at all, or will work with huge interruptions and irregularity.
Alarms to shut down the master valve and prevent from flooding and excessive use of water are highly desirable.
Accurate and reliable measurement and control of pumps to add fertilizer, biocides or others to the water for irrigation can reduce the cost dramatically.

NFC101 works on a single AA size battery and has an universal input that can accept almost any pulse flow meter with pulses down to one pulse every 5 minutes. It also has a programmable digital output for alarm or pulse and an isolated 4-20 mA output for flow rate.

NFCP101 is the panel mount version.
NFC107 works on a single AA size battery, accepts reed switches and dry contacts and has no outputs. It is the lowest cost flow computer / totalizer of this series.

NFC110 accepts optocouplers, reed switches and others with pulses down to one pulse every 5 minutes. It also has an isolated programmable digital output for alarm or pulse and an isolated 4-20 mA output for flow rate.
NFC110-AC works with 25 VAC or DC power.

NFC130 accepts optocouplers, reed switches, Data Industrial 200 series two wire flow meters and many others with pulses down to one pulse every 5 minutes. It has an alarm relay with two isolated contacts, one NO and one NC. If the flow rate has been higher than the programmable alarm all the time during the programmable alarm delay the relay will turn on and stay on until the remote alarm reset input is shorted. NFC130 also has two bright LEDs: red for alarm and green for input pulses.

GMAG100 is a 6.6 GPM max magmeter for water and mild chemicals. With its high accuracy and large turn down it is the ideal flow meter to measure water, fertilizer, biocide, mild chemicals and other liquids. It can accuratelly measure highly pulsating flow which allows to be used with metering and other pumps that produce interrupted and/or fast changing flow. Using its built-in MODBUS RTU communication port it can be programmed at any time to work as a batch controller, flow switch or a flow alarm. GMAG100 also stores the total, which can be read and reset through the MODBUS port.
